Glenmore homestead is a historical landmark in the Rockhampton area, boasting some of the oldest and most treasured buildings in the Region. The landscape of the property provides the perfect location for a relaxed and elegant backdrop to any wedding. Our owners George and Judy Birkbeck are direct descendants of the original owners and take great pride in sharing the venue to help celebrate your special occasions.
Booking the venue is a simple process, just ring the homestead or sending us an email to see if your preferred date is available. A non-refundable booking fee of $300 is required to secure your booking.
The venue hire is $1200, with $100 attributed to the Historical maintenance of the homestead. This covers the linen, chairs, cutlery, crockery and glassware. There is no other cost associated with the use of the venue. If you need extra chairs for use in the grassed area, this will have to be arranged and hired by yourself.
Access to the venue can be organized prior to the day to allow required setup for your special event.
As you can appreciate this is a privately owned property. While we make every effort to cater for special requests there may be some occasions where we may have to say NO if the historical assets are going to be at risk.
